HALTER RAISES MORE THAN $300,000 IN APRIL
Unveils Newest Television Commercial
Little Rock – Democrat Bill Halter’s campaign for lieutenant governor today announced that more than $300,000 has been raised so far during the month of April and unveiled a new television spot that will begin to air later this week.
“I am pleased with the overwhelming positive response my campaign has received,” remarked Halter. “Arkansans are hungry for ideas that will help improve their own lives. I will continue to run a positive campaign on the issues that matter most to Arkansans.”

Halter’s newest television spot addresses his work in the White House, leading Social Security and then fighting President Bush’s attempt to privatize Social Security because it “was bad for America and terrible for Arkansas seniors.” Halter also states his support for further investment in biofuels so “we can fight high gas and electric prices and help Arkansas farmers at the same time.”
